Welcome to the Course "Church Discipline: Fallen, Broken, Restored". We hope and pray you will have a wonderful experience studying with us and complete this course successfully!

This course offers a practical, biblical guide on how to help Christians in our midst who are struggling with significant sin issues. It explains our penchant for doing wrong, our need to be broken, how to handle church discipline, and how to restore a fallen, broken believer.

We hope that you will enjoy this course and you will successfully complete it. This is a simplified course, but it has all the video lectures, and you also have the opportunity to check yourself and pass the final exam if you choose to. This course is self-paced and is not intended to be assisted by a teacher. But if you have any questions, you can ask our instructor using the discussion forum "ASK A QUESTION" below or writing at tvsstudent@gmail.com (in the subject of the letter, specify the course code PT224_001). Our teacher will be happy to answer all your questions. Also, you can choose to study this course at a deeper level along with the course facilitator. You can both view lectures in video format and listen to them in audio format.   The unholy trinity - our old sin nature, the world, and the devil - is constantly working to lead believers into sin and away from a life that pleases God. The danger is not that they fall, but that a lot of them remain on the ground. In this lecture Dennis Kizziar invites us to examine why so many Christians keep stumbling and shares interesting stories about people who struggled with sin.

  No matter what people have done, God wants to restore everyone fully. To travel the road to restoration, however, people must first go through brokenness. What is brokenness? Where does the journey of a fallen and broken person start? In this lecture Dennis Kizziar gives answers to these questions and shares helpful biblical guidelines.

- TOPIC 3. BIBLICAL CHURCH DISCIPLINE
  
  Without a doubt, exercising church discipline is one of the most difficult matters a church will ever have to confront because of the multitude of emotions that are involved and the different perspectives people bring to the issue. In this lecture Dennis Kizziar shares his experience and teaches from the Scriptures about the importance of church discipline. After watching this lecture you will be able to explain all the steps in the process of discipline and will know how to handle a discipline of an unrepentant sinner.

  A repentant sinner is in a vulnerable position and it is our responsibility as restorers to keep this in mind. In this lecture Dennis Kizziar invites us to explore the clear biblical directives in 2nd Corinthians 2:5-11 and to take the actions specified in those verses. You will also learn about the importance of celebrating restoration and bringing public closure.
