Hi I'm Sonny from Cebu in the Philippines. I am 42 years old, married and with a 13 year old daughter. I am hoping to learn something about counseling to help myself and others. I assist in a church in my area and hopefully I will be able to apply what I learn here.

I expect to learn the basic principles of pastoral counseling. I am also interested to learn how to practice these principles in a way that is consistent with the Word of God. Hopefully I will be able to learn how to handle different personal issues such as depression, anger or mental issues. It will also be good if I can learn how to handle family and community issues involving not only one but several individuals simultaneously.
