Baptism in waterBaptism in water is the act of being immersed in water in obedience to scripture, as a statement of faith in Christ. "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit" (Matt. 28:19). | |

CommunionCommunion is a memorial supper of bread and wine, symbolizing the broken body and shed blood of Jesus. "The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ?" (1 Cor. 10:16). | |
