We must move beyond the formal school approach to equipping. In this section of the lecture "Leadership Developnent" Craig Ott describes very briefly three approaches to ministry equipping: worskshops which is a great way to teach basic skills, equipping in ministry teams, and individual instruction (mentoring and coaching).  Each has its strengths, weaknesses, and appropriate application. Selection of the best methods will depend on the equipping goals, the participants, and the available resources.
