Paper and essay questions

1. Each student should write a final  paper (1500 words)  on the theme: The Gospel is good news for __________.  This essay will explore the needs within a certain religious system of your choice ( except Islam)  and suggest ways that Jesus Christ of the New Testament is a fulfillment of their quest.  

2. Each student should write two  one page essays (200-250 words) in response to the given questions.

WEEK 2

Essay #1

How do you approach the idea of religious freedom or religious pluralism?

In this essay you should:

1) explain the idea of religious pluralism;

2) share your approach to that idea;

3) use arguments to support your apprach.

WEEK  7

Essay #2

The significance of relationship in Confucianism and Christian Church.

In this essay you should compare Confucian way of thinking about the importance of relationships and the Christian way of thinking about church as a family.
